Coming Up in January
Our first meeting in January 2019 sounds to be really exciting, why not come and join us to tackle the art of Geli printing. The member led workshop will cater for those new to this technique and for those with experience to come and produce some really exciting new fabric prints for you to use throughout the year.
Gelatin printing is a form of monoprinting in which a gelatin slab is used as a printing plate in conjunction with standard water soluble printing inks to create images. We will be able to share our experiences of substituting glass or lino for the printing plate and acryllic paints for printing inks.
An excellent creative day to start off the new year at Grassington Embroiderers' Guild.
